GDPR – It’s almost here
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into effect from the 25th May across the EU. Now I’m an Aussie and far from a GDPR expert. However, what I do know is that people outside the EU also need to comply in certain situations with GDPR and face large fines if they don’t.
For any recruitment business, no matter where you sit on the world stage you need to have an understanding of this regulation. So, if your knowledge is limited or you are outside the EU, please refer to the attached videos and hear what the experts on GDPR have to say to ensure you are compliant.
Fines for non-compliance with GDPR are 20 million euros and above and they are not restricted to the EU, so please take the time to check out these videos that clearly cover GDPR and what it may mean for you.
